Every girl dreams of having a room just for getting ready in the morning. It would make the whole process of choosing your outfit that much more fun.
My dream dressing room would be based on neutral tones. When my hubby and I buy our first home, this is also how I want it to be decorated. I think neutral tones—beiges, creams and whites—create a warm, comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
I’d have a shaggy carpet so that I could walk about barefoot in comfort. Nothing feels better than carpet underneath your feet. The ottoman would be for when I need to put on my shoes, and the chaise lounge would be for relaxing, or seating for when guests come over.
I’d have to have a pretty dressing table so that I can do my make-up in the same room.
Other necessary items include: Wardrobes that cover an entire wall — obviously because a girl can never have too many clothes. Check. Shoe shelves to store all of my shoes. Check. A rectangle floor length mirror in the corner. The best kind, for those full length selfies, but also so that I can inspect myself before leaving the house. Double check. And lastly, a pretty chandelier to light up the room. Lighting is a must in a dressing room.
My dream dressing room is simple and straightforward. I’m not one for fancy, showy things, and have always appreciated functionality.

If you had the chance to have your very own dream dressing room, what would it look like?
