I was very excited to get my hands on NARS newest foundation. After watching Jackie Aina review it, I knew it was what I had been looking for.
I had been on the hunt for a new foundation, because although I love my Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H and had been using it since my wedding day (that’s three years ago now), I realised that lately when I’d wear it, I would look grey and washed out. So, it was time for something new.
When I watched the Jackie Aina tutorial, the Natural Radiant Longwear foundation wasn’t out in the UK yet, so I had to wait a little while, but was so excited when I finally went to Selfridges to get matched and purchase it. I was matched to Marquises, which is a medium/dark shade with a warm undertone.
The Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation boasts 16-hour wear, that is not only lightweight, but works to improve the look of your skin over time. I only wear foundation when I’m going to a wedding, a special event or occasionally for church or when I feel like it, so I’m yet to witness this, but I can truly vouch for how radiant and bright my skin looks when I wear it. I look healthy. I have dry skin, so it’s perfect for me. It’s full coverage, breathable and buildable – I can put on as much or as little as I want. It doesn’t irritate my skin, and by the end of the night, my make-up hasn’t faded and my face looks the same.
NARS Radiant Longwear retails for £35, which I think is worth it for a 30ml bottle. And seeing that I don’t wear foundation often, this will really go a long way.
This is a close up of me going to a wedding this past weekend. There is no filter on this picture and I haven’t edited it in anyway, so that you can get a true idea of what I look like with the foundation on.
Have you tried NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation?
