Blazer/ Trousers/ Heels (similar here)
For my last wedding guest outfit of 2018, I decided to go for a co-ord suit, 1) because I’d had enough of wearing dresses and dresses are harder to restyle, and 2) because this wedding took place in November when the cold in the UK was truly setting in. I wanted to be comfortable, look good and have something I could wear again.
I’ve been into colour lately and opting for colours that I don’t usually wear. I found this peach blazer and trousers co-ord set on Asos. The tie on the blazer is a nice touch. The blazer itself is quite loose, so the tie allows you to create a cinched-in waistline.
And haven’t you heard? Coral is the 2019 Pantone colour of the year, so I think I cut it pretty close with this peach set.
The great thing about co-ords is that you can wear each piece separately, styling multiple outfits. I’ve worn the blazer to work more than once and I love it. I’ve also been complimented on the colour suiting my skin tone.
I kept the look simple with a pair of black court heels. They have detachable buckle straps, which I removed.
Christmas is almost here and this sophisticated outfit could be worn to any special engagements you have leading up to the New Year.
By the way, isn’t the backdrop cute? It was at the wedding reception and was a nice touch, as well as a good distraction for waiting guests.
What do you think of co-ords?
