I am an eyeshadow lover. It was one of the first beauty products I tried to master way before I knew anything about foundation or having my eyebrows on fleek, which I still struggle with to be honest with you.
Neutral tones have always been my favourite shades to experiment with, apart from when I was obsessed with cobalt blue. That stage has since passed ha. I love that these colours can be worn for day and night. They’re versatile and they’re the only shades I know how to work well with. So the Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic 3 was perfect for me.
I’d had my eye on it for a while – every time I walked into Superdrug in fact. It’s not new at all, but I always take my time deciding before I make a purchase, even if it’s only £4 I’ll be spending, as is the cost of this palette. Bargain! No matter how much something is, you never want to get home and regret spending that money, which is why I was happy when I finally did choose to buy the palette.
Expensive doesn’t always mean the best. I was blown away by the pigmentation of the shades and how well they blended. The colours are just beautiful and there’s an even range of mattes and shimmers!
The great thing about the various shades is that I can use all of them in a look. Sometimes, when you buy an eyeshadow palette, you end up favouring one or two colours over the others. I know that’s the case for me, and my beloved Naked 2 palette has been neglected for this reason.
This Revolution eyeshadow palette would make a cute stocking filler or gift for the beauty lover. It’s inexpensive and the quality is amazing!
