Happy first post of 2019! And I’m bringing it back to Motivational Mondays.
I pulled this out of my Happy Jar – do you remember that? I won’t blame you if you don’t. It has been a while. 😅
This couldn’t be more appropriate for me to pick, as I’d already noticed a nasty habit that regretfully followed me into the New Year – complaining.
Ah, it’s such an ugly thing! I’m not talking about it from the perspective of hearing other people do it, but replaying what I sound like when I hear myself in my head. It sounds petty and immature.
We can sometimes be so geared up on all the things we want to achieve when the clocks change, that we can forget what we need to leave behind. It’s easy to let out how annoyed you feel about something, but do people really want to hear that? I doubt it, so I’m going to focus on saying nothing at all.
I’m glad that today’s Motivational Monday post isn’t necessarily motivation, but something I need to put into practice.
What may have followed you into 2019 that you need to cut off before it gets any worse? We’re only seven days in, so let’s nip it in the bud and not allow it to snowball.
Have a great start to the week.
