Before Papier was Kikki.K, and before Kikki.K was Paperchase. I know they say, “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it”, but sometimes you can’t help it when a new website tempts you with its pretty stationary. I cannot enter into the New Year without a diary (although I was late getting my newest one). It is literally my partner in crime throughout the year – I use it till the very end.
A Papier advert showed up between Insta stories, so I checked it out and was drawn in by the range of designs. I loved that the diaries not only had a monthly, weekly and yearly view, but also featured pages with four boxes for you to note down your goals, to-do list, important dates and wish list for each month.
I definitely wanted a diary that would help me with productivity without going too much down the planner route, so the fact that this diary combines the two is ideal for me.
My diary cost £21.99 (not including delivery), which I don’t mind at all for something that is customised and that I will use for the year. It arrived in this blue and white striped cardboard packaging, and was wrapped in tissue paper. I love attention to detail.
My Papier diary has spare lined, blank, dotted and squared paper at the back for notes. I love how slim and lightweight it is because I can’t stand chunky diaries that take up space in your bag, and I never ever buy spiral-bound diaries. I prefer the seamless finish of a sewn-bound notebook. However, my favourite feature is that I could customise my diary to say whatever I wanted on the front page. I chose: “2019: Michelle’s Best Year Yet!” because you gotta prophesy it. 😉
I’m the type of person that gets excited when I get a new notebook or a book or a diary. I just love paper and I think that’s the way I’ll stay 😉 #nerd.
Have a great Monday all!
