I went to sleep in January 2018, dozed off and woke up in December. Who else feels this way? The end of the year has sprung up on us, and I think it’s fair to say that many of us weren’t prepared for how quickly 2018 would come to an end. Honestly, each year seems to fly by faster than the previous one.
I’m not going to do a retrospective on the blog this year. I’ve already started thinking about how 2018 had been thus far, back in September. “Why”, you ask? Because it’s never too late to look back to see what you can do differently going forward. And I say, why leave it until the end of the year to acknowledge the changes that need to be made? It’s never too late.
My hubby and I had that realisation nine months in. We knew that we had to push harder and do something different.
December is here, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to see results. It’s not too late to make a change. It’s not too late fight for that achievement. As long as you’re alive, there is still time. It doesn’t even depend on the fact that 2019 is round the corner. It truly depends on whether there is oxygen in your lungs – that’s what determines if it’s too late.
I won’t lie, there are things I want that I don’t have yet. I’m not going to worry about it and I’m definitely not going to play the comparison game. It may happen before we’re all shouting “Happy New Year!” and giving our fair share of hugs and kisses, and it may not. But that’s okay, because it’s never too late.
